Stuart Bell — design for tech, publishing and the arts
I work on brand systems, marketing campaigns and digital products. Formerly Ada Health, Tourlane and Lola Magazine, today I design, build and ship end-to-end, independently, from my studio in Berlin.

Editorial brand systems
Magazines were where I learned to build complex brand systems. At multiple independent titles — Lola, Exberliner and The Thin Air — I was the art director and lead graphic designer, as well as managing the relationships with illustrators and photographers and handling the print production.

Lola
As founding Art Director at Lola, I built the logo and the visual identity, designed and produced every page of the first six issues and made the visuals for all the associated marketing materials.

Exberliner
As Art Director at Exberliner from 2015 to 2018, I personally designed around 70% of each issue and led the 2017 rebrand with a new logo and a full overhaul of the design system.
